Canadian banks require all of their customers to maintain a minimum bank balance to enjoy the perks of no-fee banking.

Tragically, this means that thousands of Canadian's hard earned money sits idle -  uninvested and untapped.

HSBC Canada's Advance Chequing Account worked differently.

It allows Canadians to invest their minimum balance so they can grow their money while still enjoying the perks of no-fee banking.

So we put on a charming opera performance in the park to remind lamenting Canadians that they could do more with their money by switching to HSBC Canada.

A tenor, disguised as an everyday passerby, lamented his bank’s restrictions, while a soprano from the crowd revealed how HSBC provided a solution. The performance culminated in a duet about making their balances sing, ending in applause and celebration.
